With crypto adoption continually on the rise, companies around the globe are now gradually integrating crypto payments to accommodate the increasing demands of their customers.
According to reports, Telefonica- Spain’s largest telecommunication company is now accepting cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, allowing users to make purchases of the products on its tech marketplace via crypto.
It was reported that the company activated purchases with crypto on Tu.com after including a payment feature that was provided by Spain’s largest crypto exchange, Bit2Me. Also, Telefonica has invested in Bit2Me, and other details with regards to that will be released soon.
Telefonica, on its part, has announced a collaboration with Qualcomm to explore joint commercial opportunities in the metaverse alongside the launch of XR/metaverse products and services that happened earlier this week. This was made known by the official statement released.
Earlier this year, the Spanish telecom giant also had its NFT box checked. As it partnered with Polygon to develop Web3 solutions and enable companies to easily issue NFTs.
