Over the years, MicroStrategy has spent around $4.03 Million to accumulate its entire Bitcoin stash.
Between November 1 and December 24, The American business intelligence corporation – bought 3,205 BTC
MicroStrategy sold 704 BTC on December 22, bringing its total holdings to currently stand at 132,251 BTC.
- MicroStrategy, the largest BTC corporate holder – has continued to follow its bitcoin agenda by purchasing more amounts of the primary cryptocurrency.
- The company acquired 2,395 BTC for approximately $42.8 million, with the price of BTC hovering at an average price of around $17,871 per coin between the beginning of November and December 21.
- They sold out 704 BTC on the 22nd of December for nearly $12 million in order to cover up previous capital losses.
- On Christmas Eve, an additional 810 BTC was bought by MicroStrategy for $13.6 million, which brought its total owning to 132,251 BTC (equaling about $2.2 billion at current prices).
- This was announced by the Executive Chairman – Michael Saylor – as he announced the news on his personal Twitter account, saying a little over $4 billion in total was spent by the organization.
