The team behind Bored & Hungry – a fast food joint that was inspired by Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT which opened in Los Angeles this spring, is now bringing in rapper and NFT enthusiast Snoop Dogg to open their next restaurant which will be NFT themed.

Kevin Seo and Philippe Huynh, the co-founders of Food Fighters Universe announced their plans to open Dr. Bombay’s Sweet Exploration, an “immersive retail dessert experience” which will also take root in Los Angeles.

Dr. Bombay is the name given by Snoop Dogg to his Bored Ape Yacht Club avatar. The Bored Ape Yacht NFT Club is one of the most popular Ethereum NFT collections, it features 10,000 unique avatars that depict nostalgic cartoon apes. These NFTs have generated over $2.1 billion in secondary market trading volume at the time of this news.

Created by Yug Labs, The Bored Ape Yacht NFT Club, gives its NFT holders the right to commercialize their proprietary images. As a result of this, Bored Apes have been used for a lot of products including virtual band projects and upcoming film and TV productions.

Snoop Dogg is already well versed in the NFT sector as he owns a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT and has collaborated with other projects such as Sandbox on Ethereum and Clay Nation on Cardano.
